Pogba Loves Documenting His Pilgrimages to Mecca

Paul Pogba, the most expensive incoming transfer to English football ever, paid a special visit to the holy city of Mecca this week. And we know all about it, because if you’ve got over 22 million Insta followers everyone tends to know exactly what you’ve been up to.

The 25-year-old Frenchman was in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah in the holiest city in the world. In an Insta video, he documented the visit and the profound spiritual effect it had upon him.

Allah u akbar .God is the greatest 🙏🏾🕋

“Only the person who comes here can understand the feeling,” he said in the short clip. “So I hope the people that have never been here yet, they all will one day.” He added: “This is a beautiful place. I cannot explain my feeling here. Inshallah you all will come here one day. Salam.”

Pogba is no stranger to Mecca. Last year, he visited and performed Umrah after he had helped his team win the Europa League. That time, he posted a reflective pic which depicted him peering at the Kaaba.

Most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my life 🕋🙏🏾

He’s going to be travelling to Russia soon to compete in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. And with France being one of the favourites to win the whole tournament, we’re sorry Pogba but we won’t be supporting you on that one: Come on England!

Have you travelled to Mecca recently? Post your pics and vids in the comment section.
