We totally agree!
This week we introduce you to two cool chicks who are taking the internet by storm. Seetal and Aaminah are the masterminds behind the Two Brown Girls Blog – A place where they talk about everything, from expressing their opinions on pop culture, their ethnicity, gender to discussing the latest fashions, all very eloquently written and colourfully put together. They also happen to be this week’s podcast guests!
The two girls describe their blog as a “unique platform dedicated to the evolving identity of the artistic, intelligent and ever-curious brown girl.” But what makes this duo even more interesting is their different faiths; Seetal being Sikh, and Aaminah, a Muslim, and how their common interests have brought them together to appreciate and respect one another and to create a strong bond.
Seetal and Aaminah are certainly proud of their cultures, with a healthy obsession with Sufi poetry, a dash of artistic expression and a passion for Asian fashion. These girls are so ‘on fleek’ with their looks that we can’t help but copy their style.
Listen to our podcast this week to find out more about these two fabulous ladies!
