Halal Food Instagram Heroes #13 Halal Food Diary
For well over a year Ummahsonic has been the go-to source for halal food information.
We’re not actually a halal food website, or blog, or Instagram, or anything like that. But if you type ‘halal food’ into the search bar on the above right on this website you will find a whole bunch of posts hyping up the best halal foodies in the halal food game.
So we’re kind of like a directory. Think Google, except just for halal food. And not nearly as exhaustive.
Anyways, we are now on the extremely lucky thirteenth instalment of Halal Food Instagram Heroes, this latest blog being dedicated to Halal Food Diary (@halalfooddiary). They are not to be confused with Halal Food Diaries, who were our sixth instalment, but they are as equally hunger-inducing.
Halal Food Diary may be one of the most extensive blogs to be featured in this series. Along with their Instagram, they have a comprehensive website boasting numerous reviews across a wide variety of cuisines.
More impressively, the majority of the places they review are located in and around London. The thorough approach may be thanks to HFD being comprised of a number of contributors, not a single blogger.
In the past year, the website has posted reviews for Fatburger in Camden, high-end Mayfair Indian eatery Gymkhana, SticksnSushi in Canary Wharf; as well as round-ups of the best halal food in Birmingham and Oxford Street.
But if you prefer to make your food choices strictly off of visual cues, then the HFD IG is really where it’s at. Observe:
There are chicken burgers:
And ice cream:
They’ve got smothered halloumi fries…
Whatever this thing is…
And a whole lot of meat:
If, like us, you are now engaged in a crippling bout of food FOMO, then head over to Halal Food Diary for some inspo on what to eat next.
Once again, this glorious series has shown us that halal food options in the UK are as bountiful as this towering burger:
Go smash that follow button on @halalfooddiary and don’t forget to check out their website.
