All things Muslim - incredible stories & positive vibes

These Muslim Couples are Serious Relationship Goals

Whatever your views on Valentine’s Day – which is today – we can all agree that sharing your life with someone you love (and who loves you) is a good thing.

With this in mind, we’re going to bounce off of these loving vibes by giving a digital fist bump to these wonderful couples (and Ummahsonic faves) who are the definition of Relationship Goals.

Dina Torkia and her Husband Siddiq Kaan

Look at them. They’re adorable and effortlessly cool. They’re both social media superstars (well, Dina’s star is a little larger) who show how one key to a great relationship is supporting each other’s passions.

Tasnim Jara, the No Makeup Bride

At her wedding last year, Tasnim Jara decided to skip the makeup and for a totally natural look. Why? Because she was sick of the cultural expectations placed on brides and didn’t want to comply with societal pressures that have made many women miserable. Check out her Facebook post below:

This was about more than makeup. It was about expectations, empowerment, and the importance of understanding, support and communication in relationships.

The Skateboarding Newlyweds

Well, obviously.

The couple are Izzy and Vina Marwan (Vina is the hijabi shredder). They got married in Malaysia last year, when they blessed the internet with some of the finest wedding shots known to man.
